BETH RHODES |
Hi Everybody! I am Beth Rhodes, owner of the Fitness Together in Madison and Brandon. I grew up in Monroe, Louisiana, and in October 2003 was happily married into the Mississippi life. I received my personal trainer certification through the Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas, and I am also certified in Pre and Postnatal training through Cooper as well. Throughout my life I have been very active in sports, but my passion was cheerleading. I cheered throughout grade school and high school, and then began coaching cheerleading in college. While I was a coach, I began to enjoy the leadership role I could bring to other people in the fitness training world. After I moved to Brandon, I was given the opportunity to start up a personal training facility in Mississippi. We opened the Madison FT in December of 2005 and one year later ventured out again and opened a new studio in the Brandon reservoir area. I love the concept Fitness Together has created and feel it is a new and improved way of REAL one-on-one training. |

SAM SELF |
|
Hello to all! My name is Sam Self. I grew up in Madison, Ms. As a kid, I was always involved in many sports. In the ninth grade, I tore my ACL in the Soccer State Championship game. Instantly, I was thrown into the world of rehabilitation. I continued to play baseball throughout high school (Madison Central) and college (Meridian Community College and Mississippi College). I received my Exercise Science degree along with a Nutrition minor. This entire journey has led me to be a fitness trainer and an avid triathlete. I was a trainer at the Madison FT studio for over a year and then moved to the Brandon FT studio to be the manager. Things you can expect while training with me: the truth, motivation, a precise exercise plan, nutritional guidance, and also the ongoing attempt to persuade you to “tri” a triathlon! Most of all, you WILL have a blast!!!! |

I attend Mississippi College and will soon have a degree in Kinesiology (with an emphasis in Fitness and Sports Science). I also played soccer for Mississippi College. Now that soccer is over I have taken up running as my new hobby. I ran my first half marathon in June and now I am hooked! I love personal training and am blessed to be doing what I do. I am very self motivated and I know that if I can get others motivated then I have done my past. I love interacting will all kinds of people and figuring out what works for them. What works for one person may not be the same for another and I truly love finding what you enjoy and what gets you RESULTS! I am a firm believer that NOTHING comes easy in life, TOGETHER we can work hard to achieve YOUR goals! | |

BRITTANY HORTON |
Hi, My name is Brittany Horton. I was born and raised in Brandon, Ms. I attended the University of Mississippi and received my degree in Recreation Management. I grew up dancing and developed a passion for it at a very young age. While attending Ole Miss, I had the honor of dancing for the Rebels. I have always enjoyed being physically active, but my interest in fitness grew in college. While on the dance team, I was given the opportunity to train my fellow Rebelettes. Taking on that leadership role was a great experience for me, and that’s when I realized I had two talents and two passions. I received my personal training certification out of college, and haven’t thought twice about doing anything else ever since. I love challenging and motivating others, and find it so rewarding when I feel like I have truly made a difference in someone’s life. With your will-power and my motivation, we will work hard to reach your goals and make a difference in YOUR life. |
